Steven Wilson's genius for lack of yennything else, and also Just Because

Well yes, haven't been making much of late, no time, too little inclination, been writing a little, and what gives. So anyway, here's a twenty minute long track to be zoned out to.

And in the meanwhile, debates on the similarities and differences between hippies and hipsters and other shizz, the pros and cons of being such and The lack of absolute truth for the Thesaurus user. More on that later.

You Terrorist? YOU TERRORIST HANDS UP!!

Yes, yes, today I was mistaken for a terrorist. I was drawing on the metro station, and well, apparently you're not allowed to, for security reasons.

I tried to explain that I'm trying a make a series of drawings, a metro journal, and so on, but that made them want to take me to the thana. So I let it go (for now). But here are some random quick drawings I've made in various stations across Delhi.

This is a colony surrounding the blue line of the metro, near Preet vihar. The train stopped here for a few minutes (due to "technical difficulties" I'm guessing.)

The above was a result of many halves and quarters of conversations that I overheard while changing trains, and a particularly disturbing incident where I was followed home.

A few seconds hastily snatched just as the metro was coming in ^

The above and below images are the Metro station that I was drawing at, when I was called by the guards for questioning.

In any case, the metro is really interesting to me, and I'm going to continue drawing it. Besides, there aren't enough details in my drawings to make a map, so I don;t think anyone should be worried much.

I thought it was very interesting as a social study as well, to hear the change in dialect as you travel from end of a metro line to another, to see the change in attire, to notice the change in subjects of discussion.

And hence, the Metro journal. I apologize for the quality of the images and the illustrations, a department I'm still working on, I'm trying to draw better. Time and practice should do it, I do believe.

Explosions in the Sky

Your hand in Mine

I turn on the music. Your hand in mine, Explosions in the Sky. The music makes me feel many many things.

So I go and 'emote'.

The above image is a result of such 'emoting'. Making is therapeutic, they say. Making also gives you a new header, heads up y'all :)

Dragons

You think of dragons frequently, of the fire that they breathe, and Godzilla-esque world destroying monstrosities. But you never expected that you'd have one stuck in the window mesh. now.

Or that you'd slice it into two, and then swallow it whole.

It's unthinkable.

Chaos

You see things explode, even though you can't count the pieces that everything breaks into. They land in odd places, fitting together into the perfectly malfunctioning machine that is the axis on which the world spins. And this is what thinking back looks like to you, sometimes.

Chaos filed away in alphabetical order, spilling over the books in your library again, and again.

So I've started blogging again. This one is all about all the things I've been making. Long overdue, I suppose, but here it is!! :) And obviously my first post had to be dedicated to Pre Scs , and I "wish you were here."
